As a writer AND a reader, rain on the roof is a signal for cocooning, so cozy. Some family members got together to buy me a wall fountain for the patio out back. Now the trickle there is soothing. I know fall will bring more tolerable weather for enjoying this.

Oh, I love a water fountain. Just thinking about it makes me feel more relaxed. I used to have a small one in my office, but it got broken in a move. I think I need to replace it, now that you mention it. How wonderful that would be.

Thanks, I love the photo too. It’s a “everything is right with the world” kind of picture. I snoozed, I relaxed, and now I’m back from the cottage, recharged to take on what the fall brings.
Rainy weather is perfect for indoor activities.
There are days where I think, “I wish it was raining today so I’d have a good excuse to stay inside.” That happens! A balance between sun and rain is a good thing.
